In collaboration with Also Dept, we branded Inday Express concurrently with Inday All Day restaurants, which are traditional sit-down style dining.
We created temporary signage wrap, interior and exterior signage, including hand-painted wayfinding. We worked closely with the city and landlord to meet signage regulations.

Custom art and graphics included an original painting of Patrick Ewing holding a tiger in front of the Empire State building, commissioned by Inday’s owner Basu Ratnam.
Interior activation also included television menu screen, signage and wayfinding.commissioned by Inday’s owner Basu Ratnam. Curated smaller artworks were inspired by New York and Indian nostalgia, including original artworks by Simi Mahtani (bulbs, found objects, paint and plaster on wood). Frames were thrifted from Mother of Junk in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and artwork was edited to fit frame dimensions. The intent of this wall design was to have more pieces added over time without feeling overly-curated.

Inday is an Indian-American eatery inspired by the warm hospitality, diversity and vibrant flavors of India's modern culinary culture with multiple locations in New York City. Inday Express is the only restaurant of its kind focussed around fast service in Midtown Manhattan.
